Clinton T. Frye, D.C.
Dr. Clinton Frye, D.C. is one of the co-founders of FRYE Functional Health Center who specializes in Functional Medicine with an emphasis in Clinical Nutrition and holistic healing. Dr. Frye’s goal is to restore the optimal function of the body by correcting the imbalances and deficiencies that are causing and contributing to poor health and disease. He believes in evaluating and treating the patient as a whole person in order to find the health care solutions his patients are seeking. Dr. Frye helps patients achieve optimal health and wellness by utilizing whole-food nutritional supplements as well as dietary and lifestyle changes that will help to supply the body with the necessary nutrients to correct and reverse disease and restore optimal function and physiology. Dr. Frye is certified in Whole Food Nutrition and has attended hundreds of hours in continuing education in the field of Clinical Nutrition and Functional Medicine to further enhance his knowledge base and expand his ability to help patients.
Dr. Frye first attended The University of Illinois where he attained his first Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Athletic Training. While at The University of Illinois, Dr. Frye also served on the Sports Medicine staff with the Men’s Basketball, Football, Wrestling, and Track teams.
Following graduation from U of I, he went on to attend Logan College of Chiropractic where he earned a second Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and Life Sciences, and his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2007. While at Logan College, he received extensive training in anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, clinical nutrition, neurology, orthopedics, and soft tissue analysis and treatment. Upon graduation, Dr. Frye received the Clinician’s Assistant Award and the Health Center Achievement Award “In Recognition of Exemplary Clinical Performance and Academic Excellence”.
Dr. Frye and his wife, Dr. Brooke Frye, reside in Glen Carbon with their two miniature dachshunds, Hogan and Rory, and their Cavapoo Frank. He enjoys giving back and supporting his community and is a proud founding board member of Edwardsville Neighbors, a charitable organization focused on providing assistance to those suffering from unexpected medical or financial hardship in District 7. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, travel, spending time with friends and family, running on the local trails, and attending continuing education seminars about Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition.
